The front garden and driveway are the first thing that people see when visiting or passing your house. This customer lived in a particularly poorly-lit street. The solution was to install the ideal amount of driveway lighting for security and safety measures, without being an eyesore.

The front garden and driveway are the first thing that people see when visiting or passing your house. This customer lived in a particularly poorly-lit street. The solution was to install the ideal amount of driveway lighting for security and safety measures, without being an eyesore.

To allow some fine adjustment we installed a control unit in the garage that allowed the client to dim the light levels just how they wanted. The controller also switches the lights on at dusk (automatically changing the time as the nights draw in).

To help mark the edge of the split driveway, we installed recessed ground lights. These were high grade stainless steel lights capable of withstanding the weight of any vehicles on the drive.

For the extra touch of quality, we hand cut the granite stone sets to accommodate the recessed lights.

We haven’t seen any brick lights that we particularly like and so worked with the landscaping company to create a bespoke slot light in the brick pillar.

The effect is a shard of light that not only highlights the position of the pillar but also marks the edge of the driveway.
