Barnet, industrial style bar – Garden Lighting Design –
We love this heavy industrial style pergola bar, designed by Fuse Design and built by Lanwarne Landscapes. We created a bespoke set of lights made from mild steel pipework fittings to complement the design. A triple light fitting hangs above the bar and two single light fittings give extra ambient light. These use the same bulbs as the monkey lamps to suggest that these checky creatures have snatched some.

We love this heavy industrial style pergola bar, designed by Fuse Design and built by Lanwarne Landscapes. We created a bespoke set of lights made from mild steel pipework fittings to complement the design. A triple light fitting hangs above the bar and two single light fittings give extra ambient light. These use the same bulbs as the monkey lamps to suggest that these checky creatures have snatched some.
The client chose the monkey lamps, which run at a safe low voltage suitable for outside use. We adapted these so that the client could switch them on/off remotely from the house.
The pipework lights made in our workshop were specifically designed to match the low voltage bulbs used in the monkey lamps. The cabling runs discretely to keep away from sight.
This garden design feature is a finalist in the 2019 Association of Professional Landscapers awards.
